NATO/MIDEL exhibition catalog

The experiences and impacts of members of the U.S. armed forces are the central focus of the works in the NATO permanent collection in Brussels. This 78-page dual language catalog includes a wide range of works in different media that interpret the experiences of military members and bear witness to our nation’s actions around the world.

Works by artists including Trevor Paglen and Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Lynsey Addario, as well as photos taken by active service members, reflect the experiences of these artists—what they learned and what they’ve seen. In the design of the catalog, we’ve used the subtle colors found in the artworks featured to mirror and heighten the visual power of these works. Take a look at other catalogs we’ve designed for Art in Embassies:

Bucharest, Romania
Madrid, Spain
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
